Changes to OTS Exams

When I stepped into the role of FIR Chief, I noticed a critical error in the OTS marking sheet which was used for all examinations conducted in 2023 and 2024. A typo was identified in the instruction manual for adjudicators which may have caused inaccurate grading.

Therefore, effective immediately, all OTS examinations conducted after Jan 1, 2023 are to be considered invalid. All students affected by this new policy shall immediately contact their instructor to rebook their OTS. For students that have completed multiple examinations since this date, you will be completing a combined OTS. In this examination, you will be assessed on all positions. This will require multiple adjudicators and will be a duration of 1 hour per invalid examination.

On a completely unrelated note, the Winnipeg FIR is excited to announce that April 1st also marks the 100th birthday of the Royal Canadian Air Force!
